SEVENTEEN is a Korean-Pop group under PLEDIS ENTERTAINMENT consisting of thirteen members – S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, THE8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino. The group is divided into three units—the vocal unit, the hip-hop unit, and the performance unit.

Their shows were brought to reality by Pulp Live World, one of the organizers known for bringing K-POP Groups in the Philippines. They were also the ones who made security checks for the attendees’ travel histories and recent illnesses in order to make sure that the recent NCov disease will not affect the fans attending the concert.

‘Ode To You’ was their third world tour, which was performed on February 8, 2020 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

As the lights dimmed, the venue was filled with the fans’ screams. They waved their carat bongs in the air as the opening VCR was shown, and the group opened up their show with their song “Getting Closer”.

After their intro, VCR, and two other songs, they introduced themselves through the first ment (the time for the group to speak to their fans) of the show, some even introducing themselves in Filipino.

The different sub-units of the groups also performed their stages. The hip-hop unit burned the stage with their songs “Trauma” and “Chilli”, the performance unit performed and showcased their dancing skills with their songs “Lilili Yabba” and “Shhh”, and the vocal unit sang their hearts out with their songs “Hug” and “Don’t Listen in Secret”.

The songs showed how Pulp Live World really worked hard for the concert. The lightings and the sound quality were really on point. They successfully managed to show the duality of the different sub-units of the group.

After the unit stages, they performed “Can’t See the End/Space” and one of the highlights of the show was when they sang “Smile Flower”, a song written for their fans, with carats (the name of their fandom).

When it was time for their second ment, they sang more of the songs with their fans. Some of the fans even chanted for them to perform “Tala”, but unfortunately, they didn’t know the dance to it. During this ment, they also teased the fans that they’re performing their last song, “Fear”, their latest title track.

The fans waited for a few minutes, then, their last VCR was shown as the sign for their encore. They performed “9-Teen” and said their farewell through the ending ment. During the ending ment, one of the members, Jun, even told the fans how pata made his trip here in the Philippines memorable. SEVENTEEN performed their last two songs for the show, “HIT” and the never ending “Very Nice”.
