2019 was the year Divine Light Academy celebrated its Silver Jubilee, with 25 years’ worth of hard work and passion that built such a great academy, with various memories engraved within the very halls of the school. It recalled the start of a great path to many children’s futures, when the school founder, Mrs. Leonila D. Sese, opened up another campus in Molino, Cavite way back in 1994 as Divine Light Academy was expanding its educational mission.
Because of the anniversary, the school presented a wide array of different fun-filled activities, through the months of October until the end of November, which delighted many and proved the great development of the school. The activities that were lined up for the celebration are as follows:
A Tree Planting Activity was held on October 5, Saturday, at the Barangay Molino III near Camella Springville, which enhanced the students’ harmony with nature, as well as a Dental & Medical Mission and a Feeding Program, which was held within the school grounds on October 12, Saturday, wherein students were given the chance to help those in need by donating and assisting the less fortunate.

The annual Fun Run was held at the Bacoor Government Center, Molino Boulevard on November 23, Saturday, and from November 25 to 27, the ‘Tagisan ng Talino’, an academic competition, took place at the SHS Building, where the brightest students had the chance to showcase their knowledge and abilities about lessons from all subjects.
On the same day, November 27, Thursday, a Thanksgiving Mass was held, along with the opening of various booths, exhibits, and a book fair, which was located all over the campus for everyone to enjoy for the entire day.

On the following day, November 28, Friday, the Mass Demonstrations and Cultural Dance Presentations were performed by the selected grade levels, which highlighted the spirit and beauty of the Filipino dance culture.

As a finale, the school celebrated its 25th Anniversary Night, more commonly known as the ‘Social Night’, on November 29, Friday, within the school campus, which was open to all guests. Students, teachers, and staff participated eagerly in the program, from intermission numbers to remembering even the school’s historical moments and achievements.
