Medical and Dental Mission 2019

October 12, 2019, Saturday, a Medical and Dental Mission was held at Divine Light Academy – Molino Campus in celebration of its 25th anniversary. The teachers, staff, as well as the students cooperated in the said event.

Weeks before the event started, teachers were assigned to inform the parents of their students if they were willing to donate or participate in the said program. The Divinians and the parents participated actively, according to Ms. Luisa Ordoñez. Surely, the event wouldn’t be successful without everyone’s cooperation. There are still more events awaited by the students and parents, such as the upcoming fun run. The DLA family expresses their utmost gratitude for the families who participated and is still willing to join some other activities.

Many families from different barangays were able to fulfil their health-related needs. The DLA family provided various medicines, vaccines, and free check-ups, which were essential to families who somehow cannot afford to sustain their family members’ needs, or health-related needs. Families that were able to attend the event were really pleased and thankful for approving such project.

Overall, the school was able to be of help to many families, which proves that it aims to not only provide the sustainable needs of the students, but also to provide the needs of others and give back to the community.
