Butterfly

A butterfly starts with being a small caterpillar that knew nothing about this world, and was purely innocent about the world that it's living in. Like a normal caterpillar, it started its journey without knowing what lies ahead, with its mind only set to do anything in order to live life to its fullest as the destination does not really matter, but it's the journey that does. It did everything in order to live, to continue its life, even though the struggle was too much to bear for the sweet and soft creature.

Everybody loved the caterpillar so much, that they continued to help the caterpillar in ways that would prolong the amount of days it had. They cherished and took care of it like it was their own family. The journey it's going through has many ups and downs that would educate the caterpillar on what it should do in order to live, and soon value the importance of its life.

The caterpillar continues to grow and soon develop whatever the future has set for it. It was preparing for a change; a change that would take a big impact or a huge step in its life. The caterpillar only wanted to spread one thing to others, and that is the essence of love. That was the mindset that the insect had throughout the end of its time. Until then, the caterpillar soon grew weak, wanting to stay as a caterpillar and was really hopeless. But it continued to fight its condition and still live, for the sake of others and itself. Then finally, the caterpillar took a rest until the day it becomes a butterfly.

Everyone wondered where the caterpillar was—was it still there? Was it still giving them the hope they wanted to receive—the happiness that the caterpillar used to give and the love that it showed to them? They were worried about what happened to that caterpillar; they were so anxious about the fact that they haven't seen it for so long. But then, there comes a day that a beautiful and unique butterfly had come to them and said hello, making them remember the small caterpillar they took care of. Their eyes widen with hope and happiness as the butterfly danced around them. They soon realized that the butterfly was giving them what they had previously lost when they gave up their hope.

The way it flapped its wing signaled them that it was moving freely, at its own will. It was genuinely happy by the way it moved. It gave them the realization that it was in a happier and better place, a place wherein pain, struggles, sadness and loneliness does not exist. And that's the realization and reassurance that everyone needed. Geloneil Bacay is a true embodiment of a butterfly, giving everyone the will to live, the change to make, the boost of confidence to have, the energy to continue, the smile to contain and the love of life that everyone has.

You have given us the push in order to be ourselves and see the good in everything, and every achievement isn't only for us, but for you as well.
